Auracast Systems
What is Auracast?
Auracast uses Bluetooth LE Audio to broadcast audio from one transmitter to many receivers. Several streams can be available in parallel – without conventional pairing and ideal for multilingual content, accessible listening and parallel programmes.
Step 1
The transmitter provides the broadcast information and one or more audio streams.
Step 2
A smartphone, hearing aid or receiver displays the available broadcasts, much like a list of available Wi-Fi networks.
Step 3
Once selected, the compatible device receives and plays the chosen stream.
Summitwave Transmitter
An Auracast transmitter connects the existing audio infrastructure to any number of receivers. Our TX models are designed either for fixed installations or, as Tour versions, for mobile event production.
Summitwave Receiver
RX receives the selected Auracast stream reliably and makes channel selection simple. It is the robust choice for accessible listening, silent conferencing, interpretation and guided tours – even without a compatible smartphone.
