The Summitwave RX is a dedicated Auracast receiver for professional use. It receives the broadcast streams from an Auracast transmitter and reliably plays the selected audio channel. This makes it ideal for environments where a guided, uniform reception path is required – such as in rental operations, assistive listening, or tours regardless of whether all guests have a compatible smartphone.
In everyday life, simplicity is key: select a channel, start, listen. For operators, this means less explanation effort, fewer support cases, and a consistently seamless user experience. In setups with multiple transmitters, Scout can optionally support meshing/handover to allow for uninterrupted listening when switching between rooms or zones.
